As the only source on the planet for realistic space suits built for actors, we should know.
How realistic? So much so that the company that makes the ten million dollar versions asked us to make copies for their displays.
If your looking for that "silver suit" or one of those "Apollo 13 suits", we got the best from helmet to boots! Whether it's Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Shuttle or beyond, NASA's helped us to produce the most accurate and comfortable reproductions this side of space.
How far beyond? We helped the producers of "Armageddon" and "Deep Impact" see their tomorrow. Even NASA came to us for some new ideas.
How comfortable? When the producer of HBO's "From the Earth to the Moon" needed a dozen space suits from Mercury to Apollo, and didn't want real space suits that looked like costumes, but costumes that looked like real space suits, we handled the pressure. Clint Eastwood asked us to "make his day". So we did, with 10 custom space suits for his movie "Space Cowboys".
